Dovelo ("we", "us") is a free website with browser games. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. You can play every game without an account.

1. What we collect

If you play as a guest: no account information. Your favorites, recently played games, best scores and sound setting are saved only in your own browser (local storage) on your device.

If you sign up or sign in with Google: we receive your Google name, email address and profile picture. We also store the game data you create: your points, best scores, favorites and the date your account was created.

Live player counts. While you are on the site, your browser joins a real-time channel with a random temporary ID. It shares only which game you are in and whether you are signed in. This is used to show how many players are online, is not linked to your name, and disappears when you close the page.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and service providers may process your IP address and basic device information to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Google user data

Dovelo offers Sign in with Google so you can create an account. This section explains exactly how we handle the Google user data we receive.

What we access: only the basic profile information Google provides at sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture (the openid, email and profile permissions). We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google service or data.
How we use it: to create and identify your Dovelo account, to show your name and picture inside the site, and to save your game data (points, best scores, favorites). We do not use it for advertising, marketing profiles or any other purpose.
How we share it: we do not sell, rent or share your Google user data with third parties. It is processed only by our service provider Supabase, which stores it on our behalf, and is visible to the site owner through a private admin page used to run the service.
How we store and protect it: in our Supabase database over encrypted connections, with access rules that let each player read only their own account data.
How long we keep it: until you ask us to delete your account. When you ask, we delete your account and the data tied to it.
Deleting it: email [email protected] from your account email. You can also remove Dovelo's access any time in your Google Account permissions.

Dovelo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. How we use it

To create and run your account, and to save your scores, points and favorites.
To show online player and account totals, and to operate and improve the games.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads and we do not use your data for advertising.

3. Services we use

Google Sign-In to create and access your account. Google handles your Google password; we never see it. Google's own Privacy Policy applies to their service.
Supabase to provide authentication, our database and real-time features. Your account data is stored there.
Content delivery networks and fonts (such as cdnjs, jsDelivr and Google Fonts) to load code and fonts. Your browser contacts them directly when you open the site.

Only the site owner can view account data, using a private admin page.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings, favorites and best scores. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out and remove guest progress from that device.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and the data tied to it, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Guest data lives only on your device and you can remove it by clearing your browser storage.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will respond as those laws require.

7. Children

Dovelo is a general audience site, but it is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Creating an account requires a Google account, which has its own age requirements. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it. Children under 13 should play as guests.

8. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and access rules so players can only read their own account data. No online service can promise perfect security.

9. International use

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. By using the site you understand your information may be transferred there.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use Dovelo after an update means you accept it.
